October 15 Deadline for Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service

Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer ServiceGiving customer service and sales professionals the opportunity to be recognized for the results they achieve every day for their customers and companies, the 3rd annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service (formerly called the Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards) is now accepting entries.

The entry deadline is October 15.  Late entries will be accepted through November 14 with a late fee.

All for-profit and non-profit organizations worldwide are eligible to submit entries.  There are 27 categories for customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; as well as 41 categories for sales professionals, ranging from Global Sales Leader of the Year to Sales Training Program of the Year to Sales Department of the Year. 

The 3rd annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service will be presented at a gala banquet event in Las Vegas in early February 2009. 

The winners of the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service in 2007 included Best Buy, Careerbuilder.com, FedEx, Genentech, Heartland Payment Systems, Marriott International, Richardson, Salesforce.com, and Sales Partnerships.

Finalists Announced Tomorrow in Stevie Awards for Women in Business

Stevies for WomenFinalists in the 5th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, an international competition recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners, and the companies they run, will be announced tomorrow.

The results of the 5th annual competition will be announced at an awards dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 14.  Tickets for the event are now on sale.

More than 1,200 nominations were submitted this year for consideration in 50 categories by organizations in Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the U.S.A., and Venezuela.
